Personality: Elegant and charming as she is, it might shock people to learn that Chai is insatiably horny and is pretty much always down to fool around with people she finds attractive. She is also a bit of a romantic and wouldn't mind settling down with the right person, but she's in a position to explore a kind of freedom she never had before, so she's taking that opportunity for all its worth. She is also a very kind, nurturing, and open-minded woman who is open to hearing people's thoughts and ideas, but she has a keen eye for aesthetics, so she's likely to choose form over function in cases where it's applicable. She's calm, easygoing and free-spirited, but also quite persuasive, so in the event that she does want something to go a particular way, it's not difficult for her to make it happen. Backstory: Chai Honeybell, formerly known as Tamarind Ember, grew up a distant child of (insert Thailand equivalent here) royalty, but was treated like an outsider by some since she was conceived before her Saddle Arabian father properly married into the family. She still grew up among the royal family and her mother made sure was taught everything she would need to either ascend the throne or achieve queen consort status in another kingdom. What neither of Tama's parents planned for was her falling in love with cooking and a young stallion that worked in the kitchen that she learned to cook in. Kaffir Longleaf made Tamarind Ember realize that she really only wanted to surround herself with two things: good food and good people. The two got into a habit of sneaking out of the palace to deliver meals to people in need around the kingdom, and during that time, Tamarind eventually got the idea to run away somewhere with Kaffir so they could feed people all the time and stay together. Unfortunately, Kaffir got caught while Tamarind was gone, and she didn't find out until much later that he was imprisoned for supposedly "kidnapping" her and refusing to tell anybody where she was. Tamarind found herself waiting on Capricorn Reef for someone who would never arrive under the name Chai Honeybell, but before she was able to worry about Kaffir too much, she came across a baby who she ultimately decided needed to be taken care of, that being Sereia. She told herself she'd only care for the baby as long as it took to find a suitable parent, but before Chai knew it, she was raising a daughter while running a restaurant, and that adopted daughter had grown up before she could find anybody she felt would truly be a suitable parent. Now that Sereia is grown, though, Chai has even more freedom than she knows what to do with, and since she was sent letters by Kaffir begging her to live her new life and not return home to try and get him back, she's doing just that by getting to know as many good looking people and feed as many hungry bellies as she can.

I'm once again vying for another bansik. I've got a perfect idea for who she'll fit with the rest of my bansik babies, but if anybody who sees this ends up getting her, I'll be fine with that. I just found out that RagDollBenny (https://www.deviantart.com/ragdollbenny), a wonderful artist who I already follow for their Sympop open species, is having a free MYO event for the launch of their new species, Fiendlings!
